Join us for a relaxed afternoon at Normafa!

We'll start by taking the Libegő (chairlift) up to Normafa. From there, we'll walk to Elizabeth Tower, where anyone who wants to can climb to the top and enjoy one of the best views of Budapest.

After that, we'll take a leisurely walk along the shaded forest paths, surrounded by beautiful old trees. Before heading back, we'll have some time to stop for a coffee, a slice of traditional Hungarian strudel, or even a lángos if you're feeling hungry.

This event will be a little different from our usual meetups. Instead of focusing on a lot of worksheets and structured activities, we'll spend more time chatting and practising Hungarian naturally as we walk. It's a chance to use the Hungarian you already know, ask questions, and get more comfortable speaking. Whether you're a complete beginner or at a more advanced level, you're very welcome to join. Everyone is encouraged to participate at their own pace, and it's also a great opportunity to meet other people learning Hungarian.

If you're not comfortable with heights, don't worry—you can simply take bus 21 or 221 to Normafa instead of using the chairlift, and we'll meet you at the upper Libegő station before continuing the walk together.

Please note that this Cooltix ticket doesn't cover the ticket for the chairlift, the full priced ticket is 4000 FT both way/3000 one way and the student ticket is 2500FT both ways/1500Ft one way.
