Dear Erasmus & international students from all universities, Erasmus Life Budapest, Stipendium Life Budapest, and the Buda Castle's institutions invite you to a WELCOME DAY in the most beautiful venues of Budapest: the UNESCO world heritage site Buda Castle’s historical royal palace. 🏰 An orientation day filled with culture, making friends, a useful & informative presentation, for the warmest welcome for all international students arriving to Budapest, before the 2025 Spring semester begins 💙

📍 HOW TO GET THERE? 1) Take bus 16 or 216 until Dísz tér, and walk straight to Savoyai Terasz, or 2) Walk up from Clark Ádám tér to the Savoyai Terasz

► DETAILS 13:45-15:00 - Registration: getting your wristbands, finding your groups for the activities. The Walking Tour begins at 14:00. Please arrive on time, so that we can allocate you to your group. Please note that the Walking Tour lasts for 2,5 hours till 16:30, so in case you choose to do that, you won't be able to do the Budapest Museum tour on the same day. 15:00, 16:00, 17:00 - Speed Friending, Budapest Quiz 15:30 - Budapest History Museum Tour 16:30 - Hungarian National Gallery Tour 18:00-18:30 - Official welcome & introduction presentation by Erasmus Life Budapest

🎨 Hungarian National Gallery - showcasing the artworks of the most famous Hungarian painters, inside the beautiful Royal Palace building, with access to an exclusive terrace overlooking the city, giving a breathtaking view.

📚 National Széchényi Library (indoors venue for the presentation, Quiz & Speed Friending) - the building has a fascinating history, parts of it still preserve a small piece of the original royal palace!

🏛️ Budapest History Museum - The official museum of Budapest showcases the region’s cultural & historical heritage of several millennia. During the tour, you can get a sneak peek of the Castle Museum, focusing on the Buda castle’s history.
