3rd International Student Leaders Meeting on Sustainability (ISLMS 2025)

The 3rd International Student Leaders Meeting on Sustainability (ISLMS 2025) is an international event within the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, a network of global universities, and it serves as a global platform for student leaders from diverse backgrounds and cultures to convene and collaboratively address pressing sustainability challenges. During this gathering, participants share innovative ideas, best practices, and unique perspectives on environmental, social, and economic sustainability. They engage in meaningful discussions, develop action plans, and foster cross-cultural connections, all with the aim of creating a more sustainable future for our planet.

REGISTRATION We are pleased to offer complimentary accommodation (TWIN ROOMS for two nights: 10 and 11 April), meals, and local transportation to a total of 70 participating students. Travel expenses to Hungary and the city of Szeged, as well as any additional costs (e.g. visa fees), are to be covered by the student participants.

Kindly note that limited places are available. We generally expect one student per institution to register for the event. If more than one student from an institution wishes to register, this is also possible; however, admission for additional students will depend on the availability of spots at the end of the registration period.

Should any supervising lecturers wish to accompany, they should arrange their own accommodation. The organizers will be happy to recommend accommodation options. Please note that there is limited availability for supervising lecturers, with only 20 seats available.

After entering all necessary information and concluding your registration on the platform, you will receive an automatic response email from the Cooltix platform.

ATTENTION: registration is complete only when the requested attachments are also sent to the email address islms2025szeged@szte.hu.

Attachments - Motivation letter (max. 1 page, for students only) - Letter of Recommendation (for students only) - must be signed by the recommender (lecturer), and countersigned and stamped by the university’s International Office. - Copy of passport

Visa administration If you need a Letter of Invitation for visa administration, please contact us at islms2025szeged@szte.hu and send us a copy of your ID or passport.

APPLICATION CONFIRMATION Due to limited availability of places, successful registration does not guarantee that the application is confirmed. Once your registration is complete, please wait for our confirmation email from islms2025szeged@szte.hu before making any travel arrangements. The confirmation will be sent by 3 February 2025, at the latest.
