In this workshop, participants will learn about the functions of colour in design and how to communicate values and moods through colour, making them perceptible in space. The focus is on needs-oriented design wich contributes to a more sutainable future. Participants will become familiar with the RAL Colour System, colour cards, create mood boards and will experiment with the natural pigments of pHen. pHen is an open-source tool for artists, enabling users to create with a single pigment source in a pen that produces multiple hues and colors.

WORKSHOP LEAD

Melissa Lindemeyer is a color designer, responsible for the color training at the RAL Colours Academy. She is also the co-founder of the color design studio Farbkultur.design, which focuses on interdisciplinary approaches to color in the fields of interior, product, and graphic design.
