Create Your Own Touch-Activated Device with ZOROBE!

Creativity and innovation meet in the exciting world of wearable technology and now you can take the opportunity to  explore this world in our "wearable-tech" workshop.

Join us to explore the fundamentals of wearable tech, discover market-leading conductive materials, and learn how they are integrated into textiles. These 'soft interfaces' are embedded with electronics and sensors, making them perfect for collecting and transmitting biometric data—ideal for healthcare and sports applications, as well as enhanced sensory experiences.

During the workshop participants will craft their own haptic interface, a touch-activated keychain or fidget toy created with conductive materials and embedded with electronics to light up a LED with a simple touch. These materials are functional and decorative too.

WORKSHOP LEADS

Zsófia Lévai is a multidisciplinary artist exploring the merging of virtual and physical spaces through wearable, communicative garments or "soft interfaces." She holds a Master's degree in Textile and Fashion Design and co-founded Zorobe Soft Electronics to develop wearable medical device prototypes.

Lúcia Kiss graduated from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design with a Master's in Fashion and Textile Design, focusing on structural design and technology. Her work intersects innovative solutions with traditional crafting techniques.
