Candle Lake

A Candle Lake egy különleges koncertélmény a Városligeti tavon, ahol a vízre épített nézőtér és Magyarország egyetlen, tóra épített koncertszínpada körül több ezer úszó gyertya teremti meg az egyedülálló hangulatot, miközben a közönség különböző tematikus előadásokon keresztül élheti át a zene legemlékezetesebb pillanatait.

A koncepció 2025-ben indult egy kisebb léptékű megvalósítással, majd 2026-ra teljesen új szintre lépett: egy kibővített, egyedileg épített stégre kerül a nézőtér, valamint egy nagyszínpad is közvetlenül a vízen kap helyet, így az egész tér egy komplex, látványra és élményre egyaránt építő rendezvénytérré alakul.

A szezon során több koncert közül lehet választani, az AVICII Symphonic estektől kezdve a Hol volt, hol nem volt tematikáig, valamint további, folyamatosan bővülő produkciók és meglepetések is várják a közönséget. A szimfonikus és kamarazenekari előadások mellett idén már álló koncertek is helyet kapnak, többek között egy Angliából érkező, világszinten is kiemelkedő Oasis tribute zenekar fellépésével.

A víz tükrén visszaverődő fények és az élő zene együtt olyan atmoszférát hoznak létre, amely egyszerre különleges, magával ragadó és nehezen összehasonlítható bármilyen hagyományos koncertélménnyel.

Candle Lake is a unique concert experience on the City Park Lake in Budapest, where a water-built audience area and Hungary’s only lake-built concert stage are surrounded by thousands of floating candles, creating an atmosphere unlike anything else, while the audience can experience some of the most memorable moments of music through a wide range of themed performances.

The concept launched in 2025 on a smaller scale, and by 2026 it evolves into a fully reimagined format: an expanded, custom-built platform hosts the audience, while a large main stage is constructed directly on the water, transforming the entire space into a visually striking and immersive event environment.

Throughout the season, visitors can choose from multiple concert formats, from AVICII Symphonic shows to the “Once Upon a Time” themed performances, alongside a continuously expanding lineup of new productions and surprises. In addition to symphonic and chamber concerts, this year also introduces standing shows, including a performance by a UK-based, world-class Oasis tribute band.

The reflection of candlelight on the water and the presence of live music come together to create an atmosphere that is both intimate and powerful, offering an experience that goes far beyond a traditional concert.

A Városligeti Műjégpálya emeleti dísztermében kialakított VIP tér exkluzív élményt kínál, páratlan panorámával a gyertyafényben úszó tóra, a Vajdahunyad várára, a nézőtérre és a nagyszínpadra.

Az élmény részeként a koncert előtt és után 20:00 és 23:00 között korlátlan italfogyasztás biztosított a díszteremben: sörök, borok, pezsgő, valamint Aperol Spritz, limonádé és üdítőitalok széles választéka várja a vendégeket, melyeket ízléses, könnyed finger food falatok egészítenek ki.

A VIP jegy megvásárlásával az emeleti díszterembe szóló belépés és helyjegy mellett a rendezvény teljes területe is szabadon látogatható, beleértve a tóparti sétányt is, így az élmény több perspektívából is átélhető.

The VIP area, located in the upstairs grand hall of the City Park Ice Rink, offers an exclusive experience with a stunning panoramic view of the candlelit lake, Vajdahunyad Castle, the audience, and the main stage.

As part of the experience, unlimited drinks are available before and after the concert between 20:00 and 23:00 in the grand hall, including beer, wine, sparkling wine, as well as Aperol Spritz, lemonade, and soft drinks, complemented by a selection of elegant, light finger foods.

With the purchase of a VIP ticket, guests receive access to the upstairs grand hall and a reserved seat, as well as full access to the entire event area, including the lakeside promenade, allowing the experience to be enjoyed from multiple perspectives.

VIP tickets are available for selected events. When selecting the ALL YOU CAN DRINK & SEE VIP LOUNGE seats on the seating map, no further action is required.
